Mark Satterthwaite, a passionate chef as seen on MasterChef The Professionals 2018, brings his exciting flavours to his new restaurant, Base.
Born and bred in the South Lakes of Cumbria, Mark Satterthwaite makes the very most of the ingredients available locally. With a thriving farming industry and stunning coastlines, Cumbria offers some of the best meat, fish and vegetables available. Combining these with his knowledge and creativity, Mark is able to create products and dishes to satisfy your taste buds and appetite.
2018 saw Mark go from strength to strength; with recipes published in cookbooks, cooking demonstrations and of course, his appearance on BBC's MasterChef The Professionals - his services have been in high demand ever since.
In June 2020, Elite Dining took over The Coach House at Ford Park and re-branded the business as Base, to offer contact-less takeaways during the worldwide pandemic period.
Since 30th July 2020, a flavour filled daytime menu & rosette standard evening menu have been on offer at Base restaurant, along with complete wedding packages.
In October 2020, Base won a Good Food Award and Blue Ribbon For Delicious Dishes thanks to the support of our customers and the hard work from Mark and his team.
